| Hits: 7971The construction activities of S&F Cap are primarily undertaken by its wholly-owned subsidiary, S & F Projects Sdn. Bhd. (“SFP”), which is a Grade 7 contractor registered with the Construction Industry Development Board under Category B (“Construction of Buildings”), Category CE (“Civil Engineering”) and Category ME (“ Mechanical and Electrical”).
SFP is established since 1973. It has begun to diversify into construction industry since the year of 2014. SFP has obtained ISO 9001:2015 accreditation for the provision of works in 2021. Currently, SFP specialized in a wide range of the following works:
i. Civil infrastructure & Building Works
ii. Geotechnical and Soils Investigation Works

Discovery of Ultra-High Performance Concrete
Steel fiber reinforced reactive powder concrete (SFR-RPC) was first introduced by the French in the mid 1990's with the mechanical properties of their RPC demonstrated compressive strength greater than 200 MPa and modulus of rupture of 20-50 MPa. Today, this type of concrete is more commonly known as the ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) instead of reactive powder concrete (RPC) due to this composite tends to exhibit superior properties such as advanced strength, durability and long-term stability when comparing to high-performance concrete (HPC). Although this technology has been developed in recent decades, yet, its presence still remains in the infant stage for many developing nations.
The Group’s venture into real estate development started in early 2010 when it undertook the development of Pusat Bandar Ampang in Ipoh, Perak Darul Ridzuan.
